Data migration within a transfer agency is a critical process that involves transferring client and shareholder data from legacy systems to modern platforms. This ensures seamless continuity of services, such as record-keeping, dividend payments, and shareholder communications. For clients, efficient data migration minimizes disruptions, enhances operational efficiency, and supports the delivery of high-quality services. For shareholders, it ensures their records are accurate, secure, and accessible, fostering trust and transparency in the agency's handling of their assets. Effective migration processes emphasize precision, compliance, and collaboration to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
We are currently seeking a dedicated andproactive Data Implementation Managerto join our team. This role is pivotal in managing the lifecycle of data conversions, streamlining processes, and implementing innovative solutions for the stock transfer business. Job Description
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead end-to-end data migration projects from legacy Transfer Agent systems to new database structures, utilizing ETL tools like Informatica.
+ Define, document, and enhance data migration templates, procedures, and tools to streamline conversion processes and improve efficiency.
+ Conduct detailed data mapping, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for successful implementation.
+ Perform data analytics to identify challenges and provide actionable solutions to meet project objectives.
+ Review and recommend improvements to existing migration processes to align with industry best practices.
+ Collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless project execution, addressing all technical and operational needs.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in stock transfer business processes and data elements, guiding both clients and team members.
Basic Qualifications
+ 5+ years of experience in thestock transfer industry, with a deep understanding of business processes and data elements.
+ 5+ years of practical experience inproject management, including direct client interaction.
+ 3+ years of hands-on experience working withETL tools, preferably Informatica.
Preferred Skills/Experience/Characteristics
+ Expertise in technical program design andcomplex development within ETL tools.
+ Proficiency indata file behaviors, structures, and transformation techniques.
+ Strong working knowledge ofMicrosoft Access, Excel, SQL, and ETL software.
+ Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
+ Proven ability to deliver results in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
+ Comfort working across varying levels of an organization, internally and externally.
+ Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset to anticipate challenges and develop solutions.
Salary range $85,00- $ 95,000. Bonus Eligible.
