Data Integration Engineer
Description Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Integration Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data integration solutions to enable seamless data flow between systems, applications, and platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data integration frameworks, ETL processes, and hands-on experience working with modern tools and technologies to support organizational data-related initiatives. Key Responsibilities: + Analyze business requirements to design and develop data integration solutions that meet organizational needs. + Build, monitor, and maintain ETL pipelines to enable the transfer and transformation of data between various sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud-based systems. + Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing data integration workflows to improve performance, scalability, and reliability. + Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment on business objectives and data requirements. + Evaluate and implement integration tools, technologies, and best practices to support data governance and security policies, particularly for industries like healthcare, financial services, and professional services. + Monitor data quality issues and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of integrated data. + Document integration processes and technical procedures to provide clarity and support for team members. Requirements Qualifications and Skills: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. + Proven experience in data integration engineering, with strong expertise in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage. + Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data transformation and manipulation. + Familiarity with cloud platforms, like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, and their related data integration solutions. + Strong knowledge of database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in building scalable data pipelines. + Experience with tools and methodologies related to APIs, web services, and batch/synchronous data exchanges. + Relevant certifications in data integration or cloud development (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialist) are a plus. + Preferred Industries Experience: + Ideally, candidates will have experience working in sectors such as financial services, healthcare, technology, or manufacturing where integrated data systems are critical.
