Given the upcoming elections, a candidate with extremely STRONG SKILLS in SQL is needed to identify and correct data integrity issues. The candidate must be able to come in and hit the floor running!
Job Description:
The position will basically be the State Board of Election's Data Sheriff. The successful candidate will dig into our voter registration system database and help us identify and correct data integrity issues. The candidate will also work to help us work with external datasets to confirm the accuracy of our data (e.g. – Social Security Administration’s Death Master File, DMV records, etc.). This will be an extremely important position with Elections just around the corner in November.
Ideal skills:
- MS SQL 2005/2008
- SSRS/SSIS and ETL
- experience with complex databases a must
- willing to work hard and hit the ground running

General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for verifying accuracy of data and the comparison of internal data with external master datasets.
- Knowledge of data modeling, physical database design, ETL, end-user tools, database, SQL, and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated problem resolution and leadership skills with co-workers.
- Expertise in SQL and ability to define the future technical architecture direction for data comparison and integrity initiatives.
- Ability to educate co-workers on the standards and architecture of any developed processes.

Experience working with MS SQL 2005/2008
