A Large telecom mogul is looking for a strong Data Analyst to assist its supply chain data space in interpreting and identifying trends, anomalies, and insights in its data. This person must have strong skills in solving business problems around the Supply chain domain in its processes, specifically, but not limited to, demand forecasting, inventory optimization logistics efficiency, etc... This person must be proficient in SQL and writing complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, etc... Experience with Azure and Snowflake are required for this role. Skills and Requirements
Create a technology automation roadmap for all the governance processes in line with the Governance Tools Strategy and present it at the appropriate Data Governance forum
Standardize the data governance implementation across business units and functions.
Stay ahead of data governance best practices and adapt to emerging technologies and policies
Leading the development and implementation of a technology-driven governance framework
Creates and provides the necessary tools and templates to the Data Stewards to simplify the implementation of Data Governance Standards like capturing metadata information, business glossary, Authoritative Data Sources, Data Classification, etc.
Responsible for implementation of MDM leveraging the agreed tooling and data architecture
Periodically review and evaluate new tools/capabilities."
Understanding of different aspects of business challenges and to be able to address these through the implementation of data governance standards
Works closely with Data Stewards and Data Owners to prioritize the implementation of Governance Standards within the Business Area
Conduct sessions for Data Stewards and Data Owners on various tools implemented to automate the governance processes
Ensure that the appropriate controls and processes are effective at identifying, quantifying and managing overall data governance compliance across the business and close any identified gaps through technology automation of governance standards
Review and feedback on solution designs on use case implementation to ensure all aspects of data governance standards are covered in the design
Work with data architecture team on governance tools/technology review
Driving culture-changing and transformative educational programs regarding data governance adoption and best practice on data governance implementation
Forward-thinking and vision to keep the Governance implementation up to date with changing business priorities
Good understanding of industry trends in Telecom, Data, Digitization and AI spaces
Understanding of data management tools primarily for maintaining business glossary, metadata & lineage and master data management implementation and ability to make recommendations to suit business needs
Familiarity with and understanding of key industry best practices in the field of Data Governance
Ability to bring together and work with a team of people with varied backgrounds Data governance lead, data analysts, technical experts, process owners, content creators - to create solutions
Proficient in SDLC and different agile delivery models."
Proven collaborative approach; openly shares information and receptive to the ideas of others
Interpersonal skills and capabilities to form partnerships with internal and external stakeholders."
Experience of either working as part of a Chief Data Office at a large organization or being involved in setting up a technology team for governance implementation and operationalizing the governance implementation
Ability to work with design and architecture team on governance standards implementation, review proposed solutions, and provide feedback.
Basic understanding of data architecture, data sources, and data modeling null
