Data Management Associate

Data Management Associate will be directly responsible for supporting the Senior Database Manager and the initiatives of the Data Team. This role focuses on managing gift entries, donor acknowledgments, event registrations, and data entry within our database systems. The associate will ensure accurate and timely updates of constituent information and assist with various administrative tasks and special projects, contributing to the overall data management of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Under general supervision, executes clerical and administrative tasks related to supporting members of the Data team. Tasks include but are not limited to the following: handling phone calls, sending out correspondence, coordinating and completing mailings, and assignment of donors/prospects and pledge card distribution to assigned volunteers. Generates acknowledgement letters for donor pledges as needed. Generates pledge cards and reports from our database, maintaining accurate records and electronic filing systems.
+ Works with the Data Team to ensure best data practices. This may include but is not limited to data integrity, data clean up, revenue entry and reporting, and campaign creation.
+ Works closely with other Federation departments and agencies to develop best practices and maintain data integrity.
+ Enters and updates biographical and gift data on donors, prospects, and constituents accurately and timely.
+ Manages event registrations and completes report requests as assigned.
+ Runs analytical reports on a consistent basis.
+ Assists with administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Education/Experience:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Detail orientated, meticulous, and possesses a strong ability to focus and manage tasks.
+ Strong comfort level with learning new software programs.
+ Proficient in MS Office applications.
+ Comfortable using customer/constituent relationship management databases.
+ Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage own workflow and results accomplished.
+ Ability to present and disseminate data to various levels of staff and stakeholders.
+ Nonprofit experience plus strong project management skills are preferred.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills. Visual communications a strong plus.
Additional Technical Requirements:
+ Advanced Level PC skills: Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Access.
+ Ability to perform work that is routine and strong attention to details
+ Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
+ Excellent project management, customer service, organization, and time management skills.
