Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a Data Management Specialist. This position is located in Columbus, OH.
As a Data Management Specialist in our Life Sciences Research (LSR) Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting toxicology and inhalation research programs that directly contribute to public health and safety. This position is pivotal in managing and ensuring the integrity and compliance of data that support our share mission with our client to protect and promote human health through advanced toxicological sciences.
By ensuring the highest standards of data management and integrity, you will contribute to our efforts to identify potentially hazardous substances and evaluate their effects on human health. The data you manage will support the development of regulations, guidelines, and policies that safeguard public health, aligning with Battelle’s mission to apply science and technology to solve complex global challenges.
The selected candidate will perform the following:
Organize and prepare toxicology data for submission to government clients, adhering to NIEHS study specifications.Conduct thorough reviews of various data types (inhalation, in-vitro, in-vivo, analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry) to ensure compliance with GLP and study specifications.Verify data accuracy, evaluate results against acceptance criteria, and ensure completeness of reports.Maintain and manage QC databases effectively.Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management or study coordination.Profound knowledge of data collection, management, and submission in line with NIEHS policies.Strong expertise in regulatory data quality review, particularly under GLP standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experienced in electronic data review to meet 21CFR11 Compliance.Benefits: Live an Extraordinary Life
