Data Manager 2/3/25Full Time--Manhattan #### Job ID: 007572 #### Description: Salome Urena Campus (4600 Broadway) $45,000- $55,000 **Position Summary**: TheData Manageris responsibleforthe management and compliancerequirementsof data for all program components that include SONYC Extended Day Programs for MS 322, MS 293, Adolescent Literacy, Summer Rising,HolidayProgram, TEENS in Action, Adult Literacy,and,parent and community engagement programs. **Essential Duties**: * Work closely with the Office of Performance Management and the Youth Division’s Director of Strategic Impact to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data systems. * Engage in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization. * Ensure applicants’ eligibility for contract compliance across ten contracts (DYCD, DOE, OCS,ExpandEDSchools, and privately funded programs). * Maintain up-to-date andaccuraterecords of student enrollment, attendance, and participation in databases. * Ensure student filescontainall necessary and up-to-date participation documentation. * Attenddatabase managementtrainingsas required by funders and/or division leadership. * Understand program goals,monitorprogress towards meeting these goals, and communicate this progress to program leadership regularly. * Assist with STEPBACK data gathering, compiling, reporting, and presentation of student and programmatic outcomes. * Support the Targeted Academic Intervention process by providing a system to gather and document data for review. * Work with each programcomponentto collect quantifiable and assessment data. * Assistin the completion and processing of reports for the site and division. * Contribute to annual presentations for administrators (OCS Collaborative Planning, NYSAN) on each program’s assessment information. * Manage the site’s Youth Services Information System (CSIS) and ensure data entry for all program components (SONYC afterschool, Adolescent Literacy, TeensInAction, Adult Literacy, SU Campus summer camp,parentand community engagement programs). * Supervise four part-time staff: two responsible for daily data entry, and twoassistingwith recruitment, application, and collection of student-level data, demographics, and student enrollment. * Create, distribute, and collect attendance sheets for all site-based and remote programs. * Generate data reports at regular intervals throughout the year to check for accurate and complete data collection and address discrepancies in a timely manner. * Identifyand resolve any data issues resulting from missing student and service information. * Develop data standards, procedures, and training for part-time staff and student interns’ data input into CSIS. * Develop andmaintaindocumentation of data systems, standards, and procedures for reporting purposes. * Design and implement custom pages/data tables to improve the functionality of CSIS and reporting with support from the Office of Performance Management. * Assistwith the preparation and submission ofWorkscopesfor MS 322, MS 293, and Adolescent Literacy, including all contracts that requireworkscopes. * Ensure the daily input of afterschool attendance for MS 322, MS 293, and Adolescent Literacy youth in DYCD online and any contract on site. * Work collaboratively with the Office of Performance Management to address inquiriesregardinginformation sharing and troubleshoot concerns that arise with data systems glitches. * Serve as a key member of the site’s management team. * Assistin the day-to-day operations of the division/program as needed. * Assume a supervisory role in support of the afterschool program when key administrators are out of the building for meetings, conferences, or leave of absence. * Provide advocacy and follow-up with parents for the submission of required documentation for their child’s enrollment into the afterschool program. * Translate program information, flyers for Health Fair and the Thanksgiving Dinner, parent letters, Mind in the Making handouts, PowerPoint presentations for parent workshops, and similar materials for distribution to parents and community members. * Perform all other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or a member of Children’s Aid senior management. **MinimumQualifications**: * AssociatesDegreerequired * At least threeyears’experience working with data entry management, analysis, reporting and supervision of staff * Proficientinthe English and Spanish language **Key Competencies ** * Good relationship building and communication skills * Bachelor Degree in Education, Information Technology of related field preferred #### Requirements: Job Type Full Time Location --Manhattan ###
