Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Migration Specialist in Downey, California. In this role, you will primarily be involved in the migration of data, utilizing SQL and Excel extensively. This role is within the IT industry and will require you to review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) outcomes for errors regularly. Responsibilities: • Undertake data migration tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Utilize SQL and Excel tools extensively to manage and manipulate data • Engage in data mapping activities to ensure data is organized and accessible • Regularly review results from User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to identify and rectify errors • Utilize Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, Apache Spark, and other cloud technologies to manage data migration • Implement algorithms to enhance data migration processes • Develop APIs to facilitate efficient data transfer • Use AWS technologies and other cloud platforms to store and manage data • Apply data visualization techniques to represent data effectively • Use analytics to understand data patterns and improve migration processes.
