Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Modeler (SAP PowerDesigner) in Boston, MA. Key Tasks: * Data Modeler will engage with business and technology partners to understand the business requirements, analyze the data gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions * Assess objectives, use cases, data requirements and specifications documents created by other analysts * Analyze and resolve major data issues that arise during the course of projects or in production environments Data Design: * Define conceptual and logical data models, with strong definitions, to capture organizational data needs across multiple subject areas * Build physical design for various types of systems such as operational systems, data warehouses, data lakes and others * Actively perform dedicated and targeted data analysis to identify risks for management; Strong coordination with key business partners will be required to obtain data sets and confirm results of the analysis * Document database solutions and present solutions to product partners, project teams, Data Engineering team and architecture review boards * Lead and facilitate work sessions with business functions and projects to define requirements, business term definitions and logical data models * Map Technical terms to Business terms in data catalog tool
