Data Operations Manager
Data Operations Manager About the Role: At Aon, we believe in harnessing the power of data to unlock new opportunities, drive growth, and shape the future. We are seeking a Data Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the daily management, optimization, and governance of our data operations. In this role, you will ensure that our data is managed effectively, securely, and efficiently to support data-driven decisions across the organization. Our team Crystal operates on a global scale, with a strong presence across the EMEA and APAC regions, combining the agility, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with the resources and stability of a global leader in the reinsurance industry. What the day will look like? + Data Management & Governance: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and quick accessibility of data by overseeing all data collection, storage, processing, and reporting processes. + Process Optimization: Design, implement, and continuously improve data workflows to streamline operations and enhance the efficiency of data management systems. + Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other colleagues and departments to understand data needs and align strategies. + Data Quality Assurance: Implement processes and tools to monitor data quality, perform data validation, and troubleshoot any data-related issues. + Reporting & Analysis Support: Ensure that data is delivered to the right teams in the right formats and that key performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked to inform business decisions. + Tool & Technology Management: Identify and manage data management tools, platforms, and technologies, to be aligned with business goals. Qualifications: + Experience: At least 3 years of experience in data operations + Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Excel + Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess data challenges and implement effective solutions. + Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and senior leadership. + Proficient communication skills in English Bonus Skills: + Insurance and/or Reinsurance knowledge + Power Query + Familiarity with SQL and PowerBI Why Join Us? + Global Impact: crafting strategies and solutions for a global business + Being a part of Aon means having opportunities, working in a driven, encouraging, and friendly environment.
