Position Specific Description
Persons in this role collaborate across the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) department and NEE Business Units to maintain harmonized and functional enterprise data assets. Data Stewards influence business customers, product managers (IT), and engineering teams in data design decisions, technology choices, and program management. They engage with NEE leaders and data consumers to analyze how enterprise data interacts with business processes, digital assets, and people, improving efficiencies and adding business value. Data Stewards are expected to analyze and interpret complex data sets, draft technical summaries and reports, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making. Finally, Data Stewards are expected to directly participate in the day-to-day maintenance of enterprise data, maintaining data quality, availability, and accuracy.
Collect, monitor, analyze, and transform data to support the maintenance of ISC and NEE data assets Conduct data assessments and draft reports based on those assessments and business data analyses Submit, review, and validate data change requests Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures, training, and data-related documentation Support various IT and Master Data related projects and tasks Serve as a liaison between IT development teams and business users Create business reports that provide insight into key data points Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis Maintain databases, clean and prepare data, and perform updates as necessary to ensure data accuracy Regularly examine data reports/ perform system audits to resolve non-compliance issues
Preferred Experience:
3-5 years of experience as a data engineer, data scientist, data architect, business analyst or similar occupation Experience in object-oriented programming and data analysis software Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines Ability to use SQL, Power BI, data visualization tools, and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate data concepts to coworkers Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results, simplifying complexity when possible General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, processes, and information flow Self-motivation, drive, curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindsetJob Overview
