The team
You'll be part of an innovative support team. This team collaborates closely with cross-functional departments, to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions. Your contributions will be essential to ensure seamless data flow, system functionality, and integration across diverse platforms.
The role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DataOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide application support for data operations, focusing on tools and platforms like Azure Data Factory, Purview, Tableau, and Snowflake. The role requires working closely with business users across USA and UK time zones, supporting ticket resolution, and ensuring seamless handovers between shifts.
What you’ll bring
2 years of experience in application support or DataOps roles. Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Purview, Tableau, and Snowflake. Familiarity with ticketing tools and ITIL practices for incident management. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in overlapping USA and UK time zones. Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python preferred).
Responsibilities
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve tickets assigned to Azure Data Factory, Purview, Tableau, and Snowflake assignment groups. Address technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure data availability. Provide root cause analysis and recommendations for recurring issues. Ensure smooth handover of ongoing tickets and updates to the next shift team.
