Responsibilities

Mines and analyzes complex and unstructured data sets using advanced statistical methods for use in data driven decision making. Performs research, analysis, and modeling on organizational data.

Develops and applies algorithms or models to key business metrics with the goal of improving operations or answering business questions. Implements new or enhanced software designed to access and handle data more efficiently.

Provides findings and analysis for use in decision making.

Performs work with a high degree of latitude. Handles the most complex issues.

Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.

Develops and oversees computational algorithms and statistical methods that find patterns and relationships in large

volumes of data sourced from advanced hardware and software.Designs and oversees data modeling processes, create algorithms and predictive models to extract data.

Research and development of project management for statistical data analytics to evaluate, design and develop analytical procedures and processes.

Computational algorithms and statistical methods that find patterns and relationships in large volumes of data sourced from advanced hardware and software.

Presents results to the scientific community at professional meetings and conferences.

Translates business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive data store/data warehouse/ data mart design and configuration.

Evaluates existing data-collecting and analytics systems.

Analyzes big data to discover trends and patterns.

Establishes procedures for data sharing with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensures accurate use and secure methods to extract data.

Uses data visualization techniques to present information.

May act as lead or first level supervisor.

Qualifications

BS (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering) or certification in relevant field.

Five or more years of experience in application development, application support, and application solution delivery.

Five or more years of demonstrated, applied, high efficiency working experience with programming languages and tools such as Java, C#, Visual Studio.NET, JavaScript, PHP. Demonstrated ability to solve challenging technical issues.

Technical proficiency is required in the following programming languages and tools:

M365 technologies

SP Online SharePoint Office 365

Microsoft Teams

Data Modeling tools

Azure Power Platform (Apps, Automate, Bi)

Excellent time management, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills.

Excellent communication skills; oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or a green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
