What you’ll do:
Responsibilities will include:
The primary function of this position is to provide leadership, sharp analysis, detailed design planning and comprehensive execution of enterprise solution architecture across the stated architectural domains.
* Lead and mentor of other technical consultant
* Define technical delivery plan to guide solution delivery for the enterprise.
* Create, document, and communicate the integration approach of all the components of the architecture.
* Perform design reviews of solutions to ensure the design aligns and supports the specified architecture. Research, analyze, determine viability and propose solution alternatives.
* Develop road maps describing the evolution of all enterprise solution portfolios from current state to future state and the related migration path.
* Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and hands-on ability on how portfolios of systems work together to create enterprise solutions. Support of enterprise tools needed for development and QA processes.
* Ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust, confidence and intellectual integrity with both Business and IT partners.
What you need to bring:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent, MS preferred
* 8+ years of experience with architecting, implementing, and tuning large, complex SQL DB environments.
* 5+ years of data delivery platforms based on SQL as well as NoSQL, popular BI stack implementations in the On-premise environments as well as exposure to cloud-based implementation strategies.
* 5+ years of design, implementation of architectures connecting to disparate data sources – structured and unstructured data – to support of complex application architectures
* 3+ years of architecting and maintaining a data lake with popular big data platform Hadoop architectures and analytics capabilities.
* Experience designing and implementing scalable ETL techniques for data ingestion and transformation systems in batch and near real time on-premise environments as well as cloud-based (such as Lamda Architecture).
* Experience in implementing Datawarehousing solutions.
* Expert in architecting & optimizing performance and implementing High Availability solutions.
* Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solution to the modern data and analytics platforms.
* Knowledge of scripting languages - Required: Python and Linux Bash scripting
