Data Quality Analyst

Job Purpose:

Our Product Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing tools and processes to assess and update product data ensuring accurate data and maintaining optimal Product Data Health. As part of the Master Data Management group, this position will support Veritiv's revenue growth strategy by overseeing the technical design of Product, Customer, and Supplier data and will maintain these data points accordingly for most optimal data health.

Job Responsibilities:

● Ensure that product data is complete and accurate so that the business is best empowered to utilize data for strategic execution.
● Develop and/or research tools to optimize mass product data updates to encourage efficiency when executing updates as such.
● Have a cross-categorical knowledge base to support Product Data Specialists as needed.
● Support Product Data Specialists as key reference point for onboarding, ongoing training, and general day to day operational excellence.
● Maintain product data health to support the greater initiatives of the Master Data Management operation. 
● Support the sales organization by adhering to New Item Request KPIs and procedures for expedient and accurate product additions.
● Maintain documentation to support new items, as well as item updates.
● Troubleshoot system and item concerns working to provide accurate issue resolution.
● Assist in testing of existing or new system functionality.
● Other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

● Must have the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers and suppliers.  
● PC proficient in Windows based software programs (MS Office).  Solid familiarity with operational/logistical mid-range and mainframe systems is desired.
● Demonstrated high level of integrity.
● Ability to collaborate effectively on a team.

Work Experience:

● 3-5 years of related job experience.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Experience using Microsoft SQL, SSAS, Power Pivot, Power Query or Power BI is preferred.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree Preferred
