Data Quality and Governance Analyst 2 - on-site (Warsaw) or remote (Poland)

About the role

This role will maintain and develop the data governance and management function for two clients’ accounts. The person will be responsible for building solid and long-term data governance programs aimed at reducing organizational risks coming from poor quality of real estate data.

This position will be part of the global specialized Data Governance structures of JLL Technologies, and functionally embedded in the on-Account organization.

Specifically, this position will involve:

Development and maintenance of the Client Account level Data Governance policies, processes, and data standards,Establishment and development of Client Account data governance and management framework across service lines to ensure the consistency and integrity of the data,Monitoring of Master Data Management for critical property data elements,Daily business communication and relationship building with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, to solve ongoing data issues and democratize knowledge on data, including development of mature Data Stewardship program,Creation and maintenance of the Data Dictionaries,Facilitating meetings with data consumers, data stewards, data producers and other stakeholders to ensure data governance rules and standards are applied to data-related changes and projects,Partnering with IT, BI and service lines counterparts to understand the business context for data management activities,Identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions regarding data quality and processes,Supporting the Account in knowledge management by establishing and documenting data flows and processes.

2+ years of data governance / data management related experience in an enterprise environment across multiple application systems and business functionsStrong experience in client relationship managementExperience in a role of business analyst or similarFamiliarity with database management processesKnowledge of data lifecycle and maintenance processesKnowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes

Skills

Relationship management skills: excellent listening and consultative capability, the ability to influence and negotiate with business and technology partners to drive change, and the ability to take a broad perspective and make key connectionsAbility to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the overall information and analytics space. Good understanding of data quality management (processes and concepts). Knowledge of data governance and how it impacts business processes.Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills. Strong negotiation and group facilitation skills; ability to move a process forward, while meeting the needs of a variety of clients. Ability to work with various levels of peers including analysts, developers and executives regarding complex business and data related issues.   High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to make effective decisions and solve problemsSuperior ability to manage, manipulate and analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations. Articulate the issues and resolutions via business-friendly communications. Serve as primary day-to-day contact for regional data management issues.Management of timelines and deliverable schedules, recognizing and sharing risks and roadblocksAdvanced skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint requiredFamiliarity with SQL
