We are looking for a Data Quality Lead who is innovation and curious, to join us in our Insight-to-Impact (I2I) Patient Impact Team, based at our Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

 

About the role

The Data Quality Lead will be the in-house data expert, comfortable working with data and business processes to enable business opportunities and improve trust in data and customer experience. You will define what first-class data quality means and will work to embed best practice within the organisation. The Data Quality Lead will champion and train colleagues in how to get the most from data, ensuring data is efficiently and effectively captured, processed, stored and disposed of.

 

Who you’ll work with

You will work very closely with all facets of the organisation including the Reporting Team, Business Analysts, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and IT.

 

What you’ll do

Ensure the implementation of data quality processes: defining critical data, controls, quality targets, alert thresholds, and escalation procedures.Oversee the management procedures for errors and remediation: impact on use, root-cause analysis of data issues, definition of remediation plans with the business areas.Manage the offshore Data Stewardship Team, to ensure acquired data meets the desired standards.Work on the implementation of a data quality tool and automate data quality checks.Manage the data providers and monitor on-time data delivery, and quality.

 

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, or in an environment where data quality was your main scope preferable in a sales and marketing environment (CRM, Advanced Analytics, Digital Assistant, Digital Business Transformation (DBT).You have experience in leading high priority, business critical initiatives within a matrix organization.You have basic code experience with SQL, allowing to retrieve data in databases as well to guide experienced coders by defining clear user stories.Sufficient knowledge and understanding in the utilization and business implementation of a data quality tool.Experience of training staff on the use of good business process and technology.Exposure to CRM systems (Veeva, SalesForce Marketing Cloud, digital media) and data tools (Collibra, Snowflake, Denodo) is desirable.
