Data Quality Lead
Description We are looking for a dedicated Data Quality Lead to join our team in the financial services industry, located in the northern Chicago suburbs. The Data Quality Lead will be instrumental in implementing a robust data quality program across the organization, mitigating risks, and improving data accessibility. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, acting as a pivotal link between Business Technology, analytics, and governance teams. This role is hybrid. Responsibilities: • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current data quality landscape and identify areas for improvement • Develop a scalable, enterprise-wide Data Quality framework • Design a federated model for enterprise-wide data quality ownership • Embed data quality within operational and analytical workflows through the creation of feedback loops across the organization • Facilitate strategic collaboration between Business Technology and Data Analytics teams • Align data quality initiatives with regulatory requirements in collaboration with Risk, Compliance, and Data Governance teams • Establish a unified data quality framework in partnership with CDG programs, data stewards, and BT owners • Manage data risk, aligning efforts with enterprise data risk management priorities • Prioritize investments by identifying high-risk areas that require focused data quality improvements • Lead a small team of operational data quality professionals, aligning their efforts with the broader enterprise data strategy • Foster a culture of data quality ownership by driving awareness and engagement among critical business stakeholders. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. • Proven track record as a Data Quality Lead or similar role. • Proficiency in using Bloomberg Terminal. • Experience with Concur software. • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. • Proficiency in generating Crystal Reports. • Knowledge of various Data Mining Techniques. • Experience with the About Time software. • Understanding of Accounting Functions. • Experience in Auditing. • Familiarity with Budget Processes. • Knowledge of Capital Management principles.
