CGI is Seeking a Sr. Data Quality Platform Engineer to manage and administer data quality platform (Databricks) as well as other complimentary systems. This role is located at the client site in either Miramar, FL or Dallas, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** •Manage and administer as well as provide support for the Data Quality platform and supporting systems (DataBricks, IDQ knowledge a plus) •Assist in designing and implementing data quality standards using tools like Databricks (preferred) and Informatica. Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential. •Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize workflows and resolve data quality issues. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are necessary. •Document data quality procedures and generate reports. Familiarity with data architectures and pipelines is beneficial. •Ensure data integrity and compliance with data privacy regulations. Stay updated with the latest data quality tools and techniques. •Engage in continuous improvement and optimization of Data Quality platforms and processes. •Experience with cloud-based data solutions and data governance is a plus. •Participate in SIT and UAT. •Develop solutions that are compatible with multi-cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration and operation. •Implement continuous development, deployment, testing, integration, and monitoring practices. •Use tools like Airflow for workflow automation and scheduling. **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • Proficiency and hands-on experience managing platforms such as Databricks and Unity Catalog • Proficiency in Python and Spark • Proficiency with Kafka or similar streaming platforms • Strong SQL skills for database querying and manipulation. • Extensive experience using with Airflow for workflow management • Experience with cloud platforms AWS, including security, data handling, and storage solutions and proficiency with cloud-based storage solutions specifically S3 • Experience implementing data governance and quality measures in cloud environments • In-depth understanding of Databricks data quality framework • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Ability to document processes and frameworks clearly for future reference. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,500 - $173,500.
