Data Quality Technical Program Manager

The Data Quality Technical Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the data quality management framework within the organization. This role will partner closely with the Data Management Service Delivery Lead and Data Integrity Analyst teams to ensure the effective execution of data quality initiatives and the delivery of high-quality data to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Quality Strategy and Governance:

Develop and maintain the data quality management strategy and associated policies, procedures, and standardsCollaborate with data stewards and subject matter experts to define and document comprehensive data quality rules, validations, and metricsCollaborate with the Data Management Program Manager to align data quality initiatives with the overall data management strategy

Data Quality Measurement and Monitoring:

Design and implement automated data quality monitoring and reporting processes to proactively identify data issuesCoordinate data quality assessments and audits to measure compliance with established standards and identify improvement opportunitiesReport on data quality performance and trends, communicating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders

Data Quality Improvement and Remediation:

Lead the data quality improvement lifecycle, including root cause analysis, remediation planning, and tracking of data quality KPIsManage the prioritization and resolution of data quality incidents, ensuring timely and effective defect remediationLeverage data quality tools and technologies to enable efficient data profiling, cleansing, matching, and enrichment

Data Quality Enablement and Adoption:

Provide data quality training and guidance to business and IT teams to drive user adoption and data literacy

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or data analyticsMinimum 5-7 years of experience in data quality management, with a proven track record of leading successful initiativesIn-depth understanding of data quality principles, frameworks, and best practicesProficient in the use of data quality tools and technologies, including data profiling, standardization, and monitoringProficient in the use of technical tools including SQLStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable improvement plansExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teamsProject management experience, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and drive change.Highly motivated and willing to take ownership to drive results.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related fieldExperience in implementing data quality solutions in a large, complex organizationFamiliarity with data governance frameworks and practicesKnowledge of data management principles and technologies, including master data management and data integration

Estimated total compensation for this position:

171,300.00 – 248,400.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
