About our Team
US Data Operations Team aims to efficiently provide market leading, timely, reliable, and comprehensive data to all our stakeholders, and support our customers throughout the process. The team leads corporate actions, collection and maintenance of payments data, product quality controls, customer support, and Registrar functions for US Payments data.
About the Role
The role, reporting to the Manager US Payments, acts as support for the American Bankers Association Registrar, ensuring continuity and support, collaborate to maintain a solid relationship with the American Bankers Association, maintaining US data payments information, executing quality assurance checks, developing and implementing new processes to enhance data collection and maintenance, providing support, conducting regular maintenance of Access databases and supporting internal and external customers with US Payments and Registrar related data insights and methodology. This role will be responsible for assuming the duties of the Registrar in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations. This demands meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills to provide a positive customer experience and foster effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.
The position will require 1-2 days per week in our Evanston, IL office.
You will be responsible for:
Upholding best practices for data governance, managing Registrar data, performing administrative Registrar duties, and building relationships with financial institutions to ensure effective collaboration and compliance
Engaging with the American Bankers Association to maintain and strengthen relationships, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
Preparing and present project status updates and reports both remotely and in-person
Developing and implementing new processes to improve Registrar’s duties ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
Ensuring access databases integrity, including troubleshooting, enhancing and performing regular maintenance and updates
Providing backup support for the Team to ensure continuity and efficiency in operations
Supporting internal and external customer US data queries, responding in a commercial manner. Assessing, monitoring, and taking action to resolve as appropriate
Qualifications:
Fluent English both written and verbal
Have ability to build and maintain relationships with data providers and key partnerships
Comfortable running remote and face to face presentations to internal and external stakeholders
Customer and results focused
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Customer-first mind-set, and the ability to deliver results on time
Experience of working with databases and business processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite
Industry knowledge/experience, especially in US payments, a plus
Proven experience of data research
Analytical – Proficient in Excel and Access
Proactive, able to work well both in a team environment and independently
Be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Research skills
Team player
Location: Must be able to commute to Evanston, IL office 1-2 days per week minimum and as requested.
