Data Reporting Analyst
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in the retail industry located in Lewisville, Texas, 75067, United States. As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be tasked with comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and key drivers of financial performance. You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting reports that support strategic planning. Responsibilities • Analyze company performance metrics including revenue per repair, cost of goods sold, and operational efficiency. • Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, variances, and key drivers of financial performance. • Utilize skills in Analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server to deliver accurate and insightful reports. • Prepare and present reports that highlight key insights and support strategic planning. • Use SQL Power BI to enhance data reporting and analysis capabilities. • Work closely with the team to understand business requirements and generate relevant reports. • Develop and maintain detailed databases for data analysis purposes. • Leverage your understanding of Microsoft SQL Server to manage large datasets effectively. • Use your skills in business intelligence to transform raw data into meaningful, actionable information. Requirements • Possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and formulate conclusions. • Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools to effectively analyze and present data. • Have experience in preparing Business Requirement Documents to communicate project specifications clearly. • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL to manage and manipulate data effectively. • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server for efficient database management. • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server for advanced data analysis and reporting tasks. • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. • A strong understanding of retail industry trends and dynamics to provide relevant insights and recommendations. • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions based on data analysis.
