Role
As a Data Risk Analyst Intern, you will join our Data Risk Management & Compliance team helping us to proactively identify and mitigate data risk at Crown Castle —while working in an organization that’s continuously investing in data and systems. The Data Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying and documenting data-related threats to Crown Castle’s business operations. This work will include interviewing business and technology subject matter experts, learning about and reporting on their operations and procedures with a focus on data management practices and data risk mitigation.
You will also contribute to the presentation of data risk reporting to the Data Risk Management Council and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Work with business and technology stakeholders across the organization to document and track data risk mitigation and remediation plans. Work with data teams and stakeholders to identify the location of critical and sensitive data and leverage shared capabilities to control it. Provide support to the Data Risk Program by contributing to reporting and analytics related to data risk management. Participate in a collaborative approach to defining data risk control standards and guidelines to help identify and mitigate data risk at Crown Castle. Provide regular status updates to the Director of Data Risk Management and Compliance for assigned Data Risk Management and Compliance activities.Expectations

Currently enrolled as a full-time student in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution Preferred field(s) of study: Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Science related studySkills and Experience
Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from June 2 to August 8, 2025 Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship Experience working with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience with data analytics and/or business intelligence reporting preferredReports to: Director, Data Risk Management and Compliance
Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
