The Army Division, Resilient C2 and Communication department is seeking a motivated data scientist looking to put their skills to use in a challenging environment that includes supporting the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) at their headquarters on Fort Huachuca, AZ. NETCOM leads global operations for the Army’s portion of the Department of Defense (DOD) Information Network (DODIN), ensuring freedom of action in cyberspace while denying the same to our adversaries, and ensuring all commanders have decision advantage in support of mission command within the multi-domain environment.
MITRE provides NETCOM with unbiased systems engineering expertise and a deep understanding of the command’s operational mission. MITRE brings the ability to leverage specialized knowledge spanning the DoD and beyond; this is coupled with the intellectual freedom to think broadly and provide impartial/objective solutions to NETCOM’s most pressing operational and technical challenges. In the role of Data Scientist, you will be involved in advancing the Army’s data-centric strategy. The strategy focuses on accelerating the transition to an organization that uses data for operational advantage and increased efficiency.
