The team 

Deloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes—is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals bring fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.

The I&I team supports our GPS clients by delivering capabilities across the investigative lifecycle in the regulatory, civilian, law enforcement, health, and national security domains. Our professionals help our clients to identify, combat, and mitigate national security threats such as fraud, money laundering, sanctions violations, cybercrime, threats of terrorism, human trafficking, narcotics trafficking, litigations, and disputes.

Qualifications 

Required: 

Four (4) years of relevant STEM work experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree with two (2) years of relevant STEM work experience.Knowledge and understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques to model, characterize, and extract meaning from structured and unstructured data.Experience executing data science methods using python libraries for Data Cleaning/Wrangling, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Statistical Analysis, Data VisualizationHands-on experience in object-oriented programming with a language such as C++, Java, or Python; Python as primary programming languagesHands-on experience working on source-controlled code with a functional team in a tool like Git or Subversion.Hands-on experience programmatically interacting with cloud (e.g.: Amazon Web Service (AWS) services and productsStrong strategic communication skills to include presenting quantitative concepts in easy-to-understand formats and actively listening to identify business problems and their causesExperience or exposure using python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, GeoPandas, requests, urlib3, Matplotlib, plotly, scikit-learn, sciPy, OpenCV, GDAL, Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow, NLTK, spaCy, GensimHigh Risk level Public Trust Clearance requiredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 to $135,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
