Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data architectures that meet business requirements. Be responsible for the integration of Oracle databases with data science models to ensure seamless data flow. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions. Uphold data integrity and security by following industry standards and compliance protocols. Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures and processes to ensure clarity and consistency. Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases to enhance efficiency. Lead the evaluation and selection of new data technologies and tools to stay ahead of industry trends. Implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure the scalability and reliability of data solutions to support the companys growth. Qualifications Possess a strong background in Oracle database management and optimization. Demonstrate proficiency in data science techniques and machine learning algorithms. Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Show experience in designing and implementing data architectures. Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Have a proven track record of mentoring and guiding junior team members. Display a commitment to maintaining data integrity and security. Be adept at performance tuning and optimization of databases. Show familiarity with industry trends and new data technologies. Have experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation. Demonstrate the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Possess strong analytical skills to provide actionable insights. Be committed to ensuring the scalability and reliability of data solutions. Certifications Required

Oracle Certified Professional Data Science Certification

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $105,000 – $ 115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
