Description We are in search of a Data Scientist to be a part of our team, based North of Dallas, TX. The individual will be a key player in the retail industry, using their analytical abilities and knowledge of data mining, statistical modeling, and machine learning to influence strategic business decisions. You will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights and fostering a data-driven culture within our team. Responsibilities + Utilize advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to derive insights from complex datasets + Conduct comprehensive data exploration to discover trends, patterns, anomalies, and insights + Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into analytical projects + Translate intricate analytical findings into clear, understandable recommendations for upper management + Lead multiple analytics projects concurrently from start to finish, managing timelines and resources effectively + Develop strategies for project plans, timelines, and resource allocation + Ensure the successful delivery of insights that influence business performance + Design visualizations, interactive dashboards, and reports utilizing tools like Power BI to effectively communicate insights + Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy + Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, techniques, and emerging technologies in advanced analytics and data science + Experiment with new methodologies to continuously improve analytical capabilities + Challenge the conventional with data and innovative thinking. Requirements + Bachelor's Degree with 1 + Years of Professional Experience or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc. + Proficiency in Data Mining techniques and tools to identify and extract useful information from large datasets. + Demonstrable experience in SQL Programming, with a strong understanding of database concepts. + Experience with SQL - Structured Query Language for managing and organizing data. + Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for creating visualizations and reports. + Familiarity with ETL - Extract Transform Load processes for data warehousing. + Proficiency in Rapidminer for predictive modeling and data mining tasks or similar tools. - Preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
