Data Scientist
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our team located in Piscataway, New Jersey. This role is within the Associations industry and is focused on utilizing complex machine learning architectures, cloud-based solutions, and several programming languages to analyze and interpret intricate data sets. Responsibilities: • Utilize programming languages such as Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Pyspark, SQL, and shell scripting to analyze data and develop machine learning models. • Design and implement machine learning architectures including natural language processing, classification, transformers, and deep learning architectures. • Deploy cloud-based solutions and technologies for the development and enhancement of machine learning models. • Understand and translate complex business requirements into model design and architecture. • Debug and read code to ensure functionality and efficiency. • Prepare thorough documentation and structured programming to support sustainable development. • Communicate effectively, presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members. • Describe challenges and solutions in both technical and business terms to internal stakeholders and external customers. • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all organizational levels. • Utilize technologies like Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, Apache Spark, Cloud Technologies, Data Visualization, Algorithm Implementation, Analytics, Apache Hadoop, API Development, AWS Technologies, and Python in data analysis and interpretation. Requirements • At least three years of experience in a Data Scientist role or similar. • Proficiency in using Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, and Apache Spark. • Comprehensive understanding of Cloud Technologies and AWS Technologies. • Demonstrated ability in Data Visualization and Algorithm Implementation. • Strong background in using Analytics tools and techniques. • Familiarity with Apache Hadoop and its applications in data science. • Experience in API Development, specifically in a data-focused context. • Solid programming skills in Python. • Previous work experience in a detail-oriented Associations industry is a plus.
