Data Scientist Advanced Analytics
CTG is seeking to fill a Data Scientist Advanced Analytics opening for our client. Location: Onsite in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC Duration: 10 months Duties: Develop and implement advanced analytics models to solve complex business problems. Conduct data analysis and provide actionable insights to key stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement predictive models and algorithms. Develop data visualizations to communicate findings and results to non-technical stakeholders. Utilize machine learning techniques for model development and optimization. Handle large datasets, perform data wrangling, and ensure data quality. Apply statistical and analytical principles to improve business decision-making processes. Work with relational databases and big data technologies to support analysis. Continuously assess and improve analytical processes and tools for efficiency and effectiveness. Skills: High level of competency in statistical and analytical principles, including classical statistics, probability theory, econometrics, and time-series analysis. Expertise in machine learning algorithms and model development. Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python, for data analysis and model development. Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases for querying and data manipulation. Experience with ETL development and concepts, including data integration. Familiarity with big data concepts and technologies. Expertise in business information visualization and data storytelling techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities. Experience: Proven experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics. Extensive experience working with relational databases, SQL, and big data concepts. Experience in creating business reports and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Hands-on experience in building and deploying predictive models in a business setting. Background in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's or higher preferred). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
