As an Data Scientist Lead, within the Community and Consumer Banking - Chase Media Solutions Analytics and Insights team, you will support advanced analytics projects across products, sales, operations, and tech teams. You will lead the delivery of a wide range of advanced analytics including sales forecasting, operations forecasting, and segmentation, as well as crafting data stories and presentations of key findings to stakeholders. You will work collaboratively with partners such as Sales, Operations, Products, Technology, Personalization & Insights, Machine Learning and Intelligence, Finance and other analytics teams across Connected Commerce.
Job Responsibilities
Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to understand business needs and develop effective analytics solutions. Drive a model strategy roadmap to continuously improve accuracy and functionality of forecasts and budget management. Lead data science initiatives to drive customer engagements through personalization and effective targeting. Projects include, but not limited to, merchant categorization, transaction enrichment, and customer audience segmentation. Lead a team of data scientists on forecasting model development, production, and execution, in partnership with Modeling team. Collaborate across functions and Lines of Business to drive Analytics and Insights. Prepare and deliver presentations summarizing key insights and conclusions, often to senior leaders. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field is required, along with 5+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated people management and team-building skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning and other advanced analytics methods. Must be proactive, results driven and have a proven track record of execution. Structured thinker with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent SQL, Python, and Alteryx skills.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills.
