As a Senior Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist, you’ll be at the forefront of analyzing, optimizing, and visualizing large datasets, playing a key role in shaping national security efforts. In this position, you’ll work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and refine systems, automate processes, and extract actionable insights from complex geospatial data. Using your skills in coding (Python, R, Visual Basic) and statistical modeling, you'll uncover patterns and relationships that guide intelligence analysis. Your work will ensure data integrity, optimize workflows, and provide critical solutions that support national security operations. You’ll also be responsible for building custom solutions to enhance analytic capabilities, migrating legacy datasets, and providing guidance to junior staff. Your deep understanding of geospatial intelligence and data management will make you an invaluable asset to the team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a strong background in data analysis and visualization, and is capable of leading complex tasks. Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll be explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) and geospatial databases is a plus, as is the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
