Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Solutions Architect with a deep understanding of data governance, data stewardship, and reporting within the North American Insurance division of Acrisure. In this role, you will work closely with both technical and business teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that ensure data integrity, compliance, and accessibility across the organization. This role will assist in translating business requirements into technical requirements, testing and validation of solutions and implementation of business reporting.

Responsibilities:

Work with the business leaders to determine the data reporting needs, work closely with data engineers on technical requirements, validation and implementation.

Design and implementation of operational data governance frameworks, policies, and practices that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with systems analysts and business units to monitor data quality standards, reporting needs and change management impact of systems configuration.

Lead communication and training of core data definitions to the business along with associated reporting.

Drive implementation of robust, scalable solutions for reporting and analytics, ensuring timely and accurate insights for stakeholders.

Work closely with data engineers and analysts to design data integration pipelines that support data governance and stewardship initiatives.

Engage with business and IT stakeholders to understand data needs, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with governance and reporting strategies.

Ensure that data governance and stewardship processes adhere to relevant industry regulations and best practices.

Provide training and guidance to business users, systems analysts, and IT teams on data governance best practices, tools, and technologies.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data governance and reporting solutions, proposing improvements to enhance data quality, security, and accessibility.

Create and maintain documentation related to operational data governance policies, reporting frameworks, and solution architectures.

Work with the Transformation Office to drive process improvement and scalable solutions that work across a complex ecosystem of business lines and verticals.

Requirements:

Proven ability to create rapport with and influence all levels of stakeholders.

Knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance with regulations.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring alignment of data architecture with organizational goals and objectives.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business users.

Capability to analyze complex data issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to optimize data architecture and performance.

Problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and ability to think critically and analytically.

Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, data lakes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology or related field.

5+ years of experience with Applied Epic data

5+ yeas of collaborating with or leading U.S. insurance operations

5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Data Architect, or similar role with a focus on data governance, stewardship, and reporting.

Demonstrated leadership experience and indirect team leadership of cross-functional resources.

A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.

The ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions.

Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information.

The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.

Familiarity with machine learning concepts and how they intersect with data governance.

Experience in agile methodologies and project management.

Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.

Solid knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, and metadata management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Advanced user of MS Office, SharePoint, business process management, and business intelligence tools.

Project management experience is a plus.
