The Data Solutions Intern will assist in the design, development, and implementation of solutions that support core organizational functions. The individual in this position will extract, validate, and visualize clinical and administrative data. The Analyst will interact with users to determine business needs for data, reports and dashboards . Meaningful reports and dashboards will be leveraged to visualize data, connect patterns/trends and provide actionable insights to the organization. Regular analytics and mentoring and guidance will be provided to the hired applicant. 

Hours: Part-time at 20 hours per week. Daytime Hours. This is a 1 year commitment 

Responsibilities: 

Work with clinical and financial business users and stakeholders to elicit and document requirements and propose appropriate solutions Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and SQL First level troubleshooting of data issues Import, store, validate and transform data for reporting and analysis  Work with team to assist in interpreting findings and provide actionable insights and recommendations to the business Perform data quality, testing and validation checks Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

Student working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in a Computer or Healthcare related field will be considered Basic knowledge of data manipulation Basic knowledge of data reporting Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Analytical conceptual, and problem-solving skills Hands on experience with Microsoft Tools including Excel
