Data Solutions Specialist
Kearney & Company is currently hiring a Data Solutions Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Create and update data pipelines and conduct data ingestion operation Query, discover, and export data while developing dashboards/analytic models for DHS stakeholders Develop and translate functional data requirements to assemble datasets using related business logic Maintain relationships and communicate with key client personnel to understand business operations, processes, and functions Develop and run reconciliation scripts to support customer data and use cases Be flexibile and adaptive to a Federal technology environment Adhere to management’s Agile Development process Present progress to senior stakeholders Balance multiple projects concurrently Qualifications BA, BS or BBA degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related area Minimum 4 years of relevant experience Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S security clearance (U.S Citizenship is required) Prior experience as a data engineer, data architect, or data scientist Demonstrated experience with using ETL-related tools to perform data transformations or modeling Demonstrated experience managing complex, technical projects end-to-end. Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Python, 4 years of programming experience required Preferred Qualifications Experience in Microsoft Power Platform Data engineer or data architect certification Experience building complex products in PowerBI or Tableau Experience working with Accounting, Financial Management, or Internal Controls Data Experience independently evaluating controls over security processes, infrastructure, network, applications and databases Understanding of DHS Financial Management Systems Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
