The anticipated salary range for this role is between $142,000.00 and $196,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Role Objectives: Delivery Business and data Analysis for strategic projects and enhancements across financial products. Facilitate daily/weekly Developer scrums, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Support agile activities, including user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, product backlog grooming, and identifying key dependencies and risks Lead new projects from inception through go live, managing the project lifecycle across authoring Project Initiation Documents/Business Requirements Documents, Status Reports, leading Front to Back UAT across Users/Developers Coordinate with Department stakeholders to track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies. Collaborate with senior management Delivery Leads on the creation of the solution roadmap and providing timely status of deliverables related to roadmap execution. Document QA test plans and execute test cases. Liaise with business users to create test plans, manage testing, and track defects, enhancements, and questions. Write user documentation and conduct training sessions on new functionality as needed. Assist with production implementation & coordinate user validation across impacted Control Functions Participate in general BA work including production support and BAU enhancements of in-house business applications. Qualifications and Skills 10+ years of experience in bank capital markets as a Project Manager / Business Analyst with experience in system implementations or equivalent operational experience Strong work ethic with focus on meeting deadlines, objectives, and ability to learn new products and systems in a timely manner Strong Products experience and Business Analyst experience in Capital Markets specific to derivatives/Equities/Securities Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.  Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members. Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.  Strong skills working with MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS Power Point & SharePoint. bachelor’s degree in finance, MBA, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred.
