Data Specialist 

 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:  

• Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines to collect, clean, and store data from various sources.

• Support the building of scalable data frameworks using tools like Hadoop, Spark, or other big data technologies.

• Help implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow across systems.

• Collaborate with data scientists to prepare datasets for analysis and model building.

• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve efficiency and performance.

Data Management:

• Ensure data quality and integrity by assisting in data validation and cleansing processes.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues promptly.

• Maintain documentation of data engineering processes and workflows.

• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with IT, data science, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

• Translate technical concepts into actionable insights for non- technical stakeholders.

• Provide support and guidance to team members on data engineering best practices. Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and big data technologies.

• Explore new tools and techniques to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.

• Drive continuous improvement in data engineering methodologies and processes.

 

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Financial or Computational Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar fields.

• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering roles.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python; exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

• Knowledge in audit data providers (Knobloch, Nielsen, Close-up, etc.) is a plus.

• Fluent in English.

• Strong technical and teamwork skills.
