**86040BR** **Job Title:** Data Specialist - Decatur, IL **Department/Function:** Finance, Accounting, Audit **Job Description:** **Data Specialist - Decatur, IL** Internal Audit Department **Job Description:** Internal Audit’s role is to assist ADM management by providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations. This is achieved by utilizing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve effectiveness of our organization's risk management, control, and governance processes. Project work can include developing and maintaining resources to support review of activities related to any operations within ADM’s value chain, including crop origination, manufacturing, sales, and transportation, as well as supporting and governance functions such as accounting, compliance, and corporate services. **Job Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or computer science + 3 or more years of experience with business analysis + Up to 10% travel to ADM facilities, including potential international travel + Have strong critical thinking skills; be detail-oriented and organized; and willing to learn, take ownership, and share knowledge + Excel and SQL skills required + Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data visualization preferred + SSAS, Power Query, Power BI, R, PowerShell, or C# experience a plus **Primary Duties & Responsibilities:** + Maintain, enhance, and expand audit analytics + Setup and monitor ETL processes to provide complete data needed for audit purposes + Review business processes for weaknesses, policy nonconformance, and fraud risk; design automated logic in our Risk Library to detect future occurrences by writing SQL queries + Design star schema models in SSAS (multidimensional cubes) and in Power BI to support analysis of business entities and processes + Use Visual Studio to create and manage custom Excel reports + Follow best practices and team standards for security, end-user ease of use, and manageability + Troubleshoot SQL, reporting functionality, and performance issues + Provide ad-hoc data support for audit and consulting projects, including data gathering, exploratory data analysis, data wrangling, and visual storytelling + Exercise discretion in matters of a sensitive and confidential nature + Identify opportunities to provide consulting/collaboration services that result in value add or increased efficiency for the company Excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
