Summary of This Role

Defines and executes information enablement (data governance) roadmap to ensure data and analytics initiatives successfully enable the creation of business value for the organization and its clients. Owns and maintains data governance plans for the Data and Analytics platform and its associated products, in alignment and partnership with the enterprise data governance function. Leads data cataloguing initiatives in support of data and analytics roadmap, including data asset valuation in partnership with data product management and business insights. Responsible for driving data quality program in the scope of data and analytics and the Data and Analytics platform. Oversees analytics governance efforts in support of best practices for the implementation of data science based solutions (model risk management), in partnership with data science function. Outlines long term information enablement organization roadmap and growth plan.

What Part Will You Play?Monitors the movement of data across the Data and Analytics Platform and oversee data validation and organization to ensure it is available and fit for use by appropriate end users.Maintains defined data standards to ensure metadata is captured correctly. Develops controls to ensure data integrity and performs data integrity gap analysis. Monitors and reports any data incidents.Analyzes and develops data use cases to enhance data reliability and minimize redundancies. Manages the delivery of the information enablement (data governance) roadmap.Helps establish best practices and ownership of maintaining a catalog of data and information flow maps, and develops tools and processes used to maintain common data standards.Monitors indicators of performance and quality metrics and provides recommendations for improvement or enhancement.Researches data governance best practices and technology trends.Supports project planning and management to ensure best practice and legal frameworks are followed with regards to data governance.Not an exhaustive list; other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's DegreeRelevant Experience or Degree in: Typically, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Management, Quantitative Analytics, Data Science, or similar disciplineTypically Minimum 4 Years Relevant ExpDemonstrated experience with defining, implementing, and managing data governance programs. Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets. Knowledge of industry leading data quality management practices.

Preferred Qualifications
