We are seeking a self-starting tech enthusiast to lead business development and client management efforts for our Health Data Innovation Lab (The Lab). This position is responsible for delivering impactful solutions to internal partners and external clients. They will provide leadership to all practice areas in Health by contributing to strategy and implementing solutions for service delivery execution and growth.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design of solutions to execution of prototype, ensuring they are user-friendly and market relevantArticulate highly conceptual data ideas and transform them into exceptional user experiencesDescribe complex problems and turn challenges into solutions that disrupt conventional designIncorporate new design trends and emerging technologies into the design process where appropriate.Communicate design decisions and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders.Work with our research teams during usability testing and user research studies to gather insights on designs and ensure the solutions developed meet customer needs.Work with design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure our solutions adhere to standards.Translate design research and requirements into mockups and clickable prototypes using design system components.Lead change management efforts to create a continuous innovation culture at MathematicaFoster community and collaboration through regular forums for knowledge sharingContribute to strategic planning for HSI, and client areasEvaluate internal functions and processes and suggest improvements.Work collaboratively across technology and advisory services teamsPosition Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or another related field5-8 years of health and data delivery experience5+ years of client account management and business development leadership experienceExperience designing for accessibility and internationalization.Deep understanding of user-centric and data design principlesTrack record of delivering well-designed data products from ideation to productizationExperience as a design leader collaborating with product, engineering, delivery and marketing.This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $135,000- $160,000. Staff that are unable to successfully undergo the background investigation will need to be able to obtain work outside these contracts. Staff will work with their supervisor to get re-staffed, however if they are unable to do so it may result in employment termination due to lack of work.
