Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering prescriptions into the operating system, ensuring proper notes and cycle fill coding, and calculating and verifying the dosage of prescriptions. Additionally, the candidate will confirm that all prescriptions are assigned and processed during regular shifts, provide customer service related to prescriptions, and follow up with doctor offices for refills. Utilization of all pharmacy systems is required, and assistance with the fulfillment team may be necessary.
ResponsibilitiesEnter prescriptions into the operating system.Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.Calculate and verify the dosage of prescriptions.Confirm that all prescriptions are assigned and processed during regular shifts.Provide customer service related to prescriptions.Follow up with doctor offices for refills.Utilize all pharmacy systems.Assist the fulfillment team with orders if needed.Maintain data records for cycle medication, fill requests, and process cycle medication orders.Essential SkillsCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.Experience in pharmacy, data entry, and customer service.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience is preferred.Experience as a Fulfillment Technician or Maintenance Technician is beneficial.Work Environment
The role requires working behind a computer most of the time but may also involve helping on the fulfillment floor if needed. A hybrid schedule is available once trained, so a quiet workspace at home is necessary.
