As the Data & Technology Enablement, Oversight and Challenge Lead, you will be part of the GRAO (Global Regulatory Affairs Office), primarily supporting Risk and Control Enhancements (RCE) program with a focus on Data and Technology - EUC Remediation (End User Computing) technology enablement and EUC Remediation. You will be working with leaders in Technology, Data, ERM, Compliance, Liquidity, and other corporate functions to deliver at-scale change in our risk, reporting, and resiliency capabilities. In your role, you will support NT’s strategic resiliency agenda through the development of governance, risk, and compliance technology and data.
The ideal candidate will have experience with EUC remediation and execution of data and technology projects as well as change initiatives, working effectively with cross-functional teams and facilitating alignment between business, risk, and technology stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate would also understand the systems and data required for managing Risk and/or Remediation at a large financial organization.
This role will be responsible to drive requirements and implementation of solutions for EUC inventory, discovery tools, and certified low code environments, partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, productivity office. The role requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of Risk & Control Data, Analytics, and Technology strategy for eliminating data risk with specific focus on EUC risk and remediation. The role is global in nature requiring the building of strong cross functional relationships by supporting and partnering with Business Units, Corporate Functions including Architecture, Data Transformation and Technology for EUC governance and remediation. The role will also engage in supporting Internal Audit and Risk and Compliance requirements to ensure that business and functions are compliant with the policies and standards. The individual would be a seasoned multi-disciplinary person with extensive technical and business knowledge and experience. Excellent communication and influencing skills are key for success in the role.
Responsibilities:
Establish strategy and execute against EUC oversight and remediation capabilities.Be a subject matter expert (SME) in processes, understanding Data & Architecture and partner closely with Technology to enable remediation / elimination of EUCs.Drives Technology work efforts and delivery commitments for EUC remediation and retirement while ensuring that the remediation follows SDLC and complies with various related policy requirements.Works with the business and functions SMEs and Tech support in the creation of the business requirements documentDrive enablement and adoption of low code smart automation solutions (SAS) and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions with appropriate IT and Data governance and controls frameworkImplement and operationalize of a robust EUC inventory system with appropriate controls partnering with Technology and various stakeholders. This includes inventorying of EUCs, SAS and AI solutions.Track to targets and report on technology enablement and EUC retirement progressLead and/or support planning and change control processes for RCE related to Technology and Data work embedded in individual RCE programs as it relates EUC risk elimination.Ensure business requirements and dependencies management across all plans related to EUC Program technology enablement requirements.Establish and monitor all success and data quality metrics.Promptly escalate any issues on program structure, scope, or executionEnsure sustainability of program commitments by appropriate change management and embedding controlsProvide credible challenge for all aspects of the pertinent PMO processes, including and not limited to: RAG ratings, KPIs, status updates, path to green, adherence to dates and deliverables, and quality of deliverables.Identify and escalate program resource constraints (e.g., program management, SMEs, technology, data) in collaboration with Program leads.Support as needed special Remediation Analysis and Projects related to GRAO Data and/or Technology.Support the adoption of data quality and data governance procedures around the solutions.Partners to drive adoption of new selected technologies into standard support models and systems.Required:
Experience working as a self-directed contributor as well as a lead to meet complex business objectives in a highly matrixed environment.Strong Program & Project Management skillsSubstantial broad experience in technology and data, including large transformation programs with focus on risk management and/or remediation.Specific subject matter expertise in one or more of the following domains: enterprise risk management, GRC, compliance, risk and controls, operational risk, operational resiliency, liquidityUnderstanding of key banking regulationsWell-developed listening skillsArticulate and effective communicatorStrong people skills, and proficient with complex stakeholder management with senior stakeholdersAbility to influence positive outcome without direct functional control.“No surprise: approach in communicating issues and requests.Strong Leadership skills with proven history of delivering positive and sustainable change.Knowledge of general risk, compliance and governance concepts and methods such as policy management, risk assessments, control testing etc.Understanding of data and technology needs to support regulatory expectations.Bachelor's and/or master's degree in business, operations, data, or technologyPreferred or nice to have specific skills:

Salary Range:
$137,400 - 240,400 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
