The Integrated Battle Management Capabilities (IBMC) / Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS) Engineering organization is seeking a Data Transfer Agent / Technical Administrator to support our staff located onsite in St. Petersburg, FL.  This position requires an active Secret security clearance prior to start date. 

Our teams design, develop and integrate software on a variety of programs and projects, using Agile/Scrum development practices and paradigms. This position will support those activities by owning and organizing the day-to-day movement of data between various customer and internal company networks and classification levels.  The Data Transfer Agent / Technical Administrator will also be responsible for facilitation of technical meeting minutes, action items and artifacts generated during both internal and external (customer) meetings and reviews.  The Data Transfer Agent / Technical Administrator performs special engineering project assignments that may be specific to one or engineering disciplines. 

What You Will Do​

Primary Data Transfer Agent for the IBMC /ANS engineering organization Manages the movement of program-related data from internal/external networks and data sets and across various classification levels, including but not limited to: *US Government SIPR *US Government DREN/SDREN *RTX/Collins corporate networks *RTX/Collins development networks Facilitates, organizes and archives organization meeting minutes, action items and potentially other engineering artifacts. Plans, prioritizes, and manages mid-size special engineering projects; prioritizes tasks to ensure that the team’s overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. Synthesizes analyses of data, uses the results to prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations, and communicates key findings to more senior engineers. Conducts engineering processes using standard work, including verification and qualification procedures. Performs general engineering activities that may not be attributed to a defined discipline. 

Qualifications You Must Have 

Prior experience in an office environment where classified information is processed and handled. Prior user-level experience with accounts on one or more classified networks. Prior experience with core Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. 

Qualifications We Prefer

Prior experience with classified software development programs and related development networks. Prior experience with the movement of data from many-to-many disparate networks, with potentially different classification levels, information boundaries and rule sets accompanying each network. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including ability to produce technical documentation, and the desire to learn new technologies and tools. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles. Exposure to software systems development in a team-based development environment, preferably Agile/SCRUM, DevSecOps and test automation.

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
