Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Analyst to develop and support applications utilizing Oracle PL/SQL, Unix, and Informatica. This role involves providing technical expertise, ensuring smooth operations of batch processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Understand Existing Systems: * Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to understand the Texas Home Acquisition data model * Document existing functionality and associated business rules Production Support: * Monitor and manage batch processes, including troubleshooting and resolving job failures promptly * Collaborate with the Control-M off-shore team for re-run/re-start instructions of failed jobs * Perform support tasks during off-hours, including weekdays and weekends, as necessary Development and Workflow Management: * Assist in the development and enhancement of Oracle PL/SQL applications * Create and maintain Informatica workflows to support business requirements Collaboration and Communication: * Build strong relationships with IT groups, Operations, Project Management, and other business teams * Communicate status updates effectively and escalate issues proactively Problem-Solving and Task Management: * Use analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently * Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring high-quality outcomes * Take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
