The **Data Warehouse Team** is a part of Finance Department. The Team is responsible for running of data warehouse service as a single source of data for various reporting processes allowing for simplifying reporting processes including standardization and consistence of data used for reporting.
Activities include:
+ Responsibility over effective operating of data warehouses together with ensuring consumption of the data by users and analytical platforms as well as daily oversight on issues/checks and reconciliations around data correctness, consistency, quality.
+ Acquisition of new data if needed from various Product Processors and General Ledgers, implementation of reporting processes on warehouse.
+ Close cooperation within Finance and other Bank Handlowy units (business, operations and technology).
+ Participation in projects impacting local reporting and local systems.
The **Data Warehouse Manager** is responsible for managing all above activities, ensuring the completeness, accuracy, integrity and risk control for all processes.

+ Leading the process reengineering including automation and improving the quality of reports end elimination of manual processes over data collection, transformation and reporting/delivery.
+ Work closely with all areas of the Finance and Risk, liaising also with the other Global Function, Business, Operations and Technology teams to provide data needed for BAU activities.
+ Provide reporting data for Management for their decision processes as well as support regular and adhoc requests from Auditors and/or Regulators.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Managing of all processes in the Team covering daily duties, new projects as well as any changes to follow and/or lead best practise over data warehouse area with focus on following:
+ Consumption process utilizing data visualization and analytical tools
+ Oversight over proper data warehouse running with response to issues, bugs and delays in processes with COB planning
+ Acquisition and change projects to successfully incorporate any new or updated data for further processing and use
+ Implementation of all environment changes to create the highest quality of data warehouse
+ Use effective escalation to ensure issues are highlighted in a timely manner. Focus on recurring issues and drive through enhancement projects and systems fixes. Escalate all identified risk/issue to your direct manager and take proper action to resolve them
+ Managing of risks to ensure correctness financial reports
+ Coordination of Data Warehouse management including:
+ Allocating tasks among Team Members to align to time schedule and deadlines/milestones
+ Prioritization of projects and developments
+ Oversight over warehouse setup, data flows and mappings including front end as well as back ends,
+ Responding to bugs and issues identified internally or raised by other teams and responsibility over delivery of solutions and fixes
+ Planning, Coordinating and Supporting standardization efforts and working on projects to implement process improvement ideas and reengineering of existing processes
+ Intermediation between technology and business
+ Cooperation with development teams in Technology to ensure successful project delivery
+ Reporting of data warehouse updates to key stakeholders from management of the Bank and businesses
+ Oversight over requirements and specifications
+ Responsibility over data model and data flows in warehouse.
+ Supporting ad hoc data requests provided by external Auditors and Regulators, cooperating with Regulators and Polish Banking Association in the area of financial data improvements, requests and analysis
+ Supporting business in financial data needs/requests
+ Cooperation with IPU (CEP) for the purposes of data request and data flow for the purposes of consolidated supervision and reporting
**Qualifications:**
+ 5 year experience in data warehouse management,
+ Skills in operating in databases and office software, visualisation tools as well as project management applications
+ Knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools
+ University degree from area of Finance, Data Analytics, Programming or Database Development is an advantage but not a must and we are open to other majors
+ Substantial knowledge of Polish banking sector, bank’s financials and products
+ Good verbal and written English, proficiency in Polish.
+ Strong analytical and communication skills
+ Ability to transform business requirements into technology language
+ Control and risk managing
