Job Duties:
Provide application -middleware- administration support enabling integration of systems and applications across the enterprise Provide application administration support for new and existing Oracle Fusion Middleware components (Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Identity Management, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher, Oracle Access Manager) Responsible for installation and configuration of various Fusion Middleware products in a clustered configuration running on commodity, Exalogic and Private Cloud Appliance hardware. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines. Implement an auto-scaling system for our Kubernetes nodes. Use Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) to monitor, secure, install, upgrade, configure, measure, and maintain Application Server integrity through active analysis of performance measures Provide daily, hands-on assistance to maintain and advance the build process to ensure reliability and optimum integration with CI/CD and Release Management Work with the development, deployment, and automation teams on the CI/CD process and specifically to building processes and tools for Docker/Kubernetes deployments Installation and Configuration of Oracle Linux 6.x, 8.x Provide architecture and design recommendations on continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment capabilities across all software engineering efforts Maintaining Middleware backup & recovery procedures, and strategies Install, configure, and patch Oracle WebLogic products in high availability environments Troubleshoot techniques for break fixes, performance, and normal deployments issues Assist in establishing best practices and design patterns supporting Cloud deployment using containerization, continuous integration, test automation, and continuous delivery Responsible for doing Middleware Migrations Provide expertise in Oracle FMW deployment topologies, integration patterns, best practices, and architectures to support mission-critical and high-availability implementations Research new security threats and maintain security standards on all Application Server implementations serve as Subject matter expert for the Middleware products used by Applications and assist in performance troubleshooting, Incident, Problem, Capacity and Change management Develop and drive technical implementation and support for IT projects that require Middleware Products Installation and configuration to meet application requirements Automate and delegate operational tasks Develop strategies and provide guidance to support containerized software development Performing System Monitoring & Alerting Techniques Responsible for Performance & Tuning of Fusion Middleware Document and mentor developers in CI/CD processes, technologies, and design patterns for best practices for Cloud-based deployment for containerization and scaling for performance Implement and improve monitoring and alerting. Installation and Configuration of Oracle Fusion Middleware 12cR2 Build and maintain highly available systems on Kubernetes. Responsible for Middleware infrastructure design, installation, upgrade, data conversion for Fusion Middleware Responsible for daily activities on Oracle 12cR2 Fusion Middleware WLS, PL/SQL Applications utilizing ORDS, APEX, OHS, Forms, Reports, SOA, OBIEE & OPA Responsible for Security Best Practices for Fusion MiddlewareEducation: The minimum qualification required for the performance of the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
