Database Administrator

We are currently looking to hire a Database Administrator (DBA) who is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure to provide highly-complex, reliable, and scalable databases to meet the customer’s objectives and requirements. You will be responsible for maintain ing database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters, implementing new release s , completing maintenance requirements, and evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products. Requirements: + Strong experience with secure coding practices for databases + Extensive experience using and tuning SQL and PL/SQL database + Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting SSIS packages + Extract, transform, and load (ETL) experience + Broad knowledge of database administration tool sets + Experience with database software installation, upgrades, management, troubleshooting, design, support (including backups and recovery), data migration techniques, and database security + Experience with database conversions from disparate systems + Capable of hands-on work in all phases of database design and management + Extensive experience dealing with sensitive data and healthcare industry standards and regulations + Experience with technical requirements for data classification and implementing data protection technologies + Seven ( 7 ) years of experience managing a complex relational database management system with multiple environments (development, test, production, etc.) + A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or STEM-related discipline Highly Preferred: + Experience working with major cloud computing services such as Azure or Amazon Web Services + Data warehouse experience + Experience with Oracle and Linux databases + Veteran’s Administration (VA) experience + Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms/data visualization technologies such as Power BI or Tableau + Experience with Python or R + Security Clearance is not required but highly preferred About Kaizen Approach We love what we do, and that drives us to create the best possible results for our customers.
