Attention: ODE is specifically looking for a resource that is strong in Erwin , data modeling , Business analyst skills (i.e. working with the customer to determine what requirements they need) excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or with supervision., DBA skills are 50 % of the necessary skill set.
The Database Administrator is responsible for data analysis and database management. Database Administrators typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. Database Administrators have a range of skills and knowledge of the utilities and production tools used for data storage management to support the Application Team.

Role Description:
All roles specified in DBA2 plus the following:
•Highly skilled at database design, installations, conversions.
•Responsible for database backup and recovery procedures, access security and database integrity, physical data storage design and data storage management.
This is a request for one Database Administrator contractor to help us complete our PACTS Update Project that includes rewriting the current PACTS ASP Classic web application in .NET and enhancing the application based on user requirements. The current database is Oracle and will remain in Oracle.
The successful DBA3 is involved throughout the application development lifecycle. Ensures that the data needs of the customer are being met and that data standards are being followed. Fulfills the following responsibilities:
• Is involved in the gathering of requirements
• Reviews the project documentation
• Conducts reviews of the data model to support the application
• Understands and identifies data that exists in other systems/data stores
• Attends all status meetings during which data, data models, reports, Extraction Transformation Loads (ETLs), and data exchanges will be discussed
Meets all role descriptions for the job tile of Database Administrator (DBA3) as defined by the MSP.
Additional Minimum and preferred skills and experience:
The successful candidate for this engagement must have the following MINIMUM skills, abilities and experience. Any candidate who does not meet or exceed ALL the minimum qualifications listed below will not be considered for the engagement.
Database Administrator candidate minimum skills and experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience designing and developing Oracle relational data models and generating related Database schemas.
Minimum of 5 years ORACLE development experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a data analyst/modeler
At least five years’ experience designing relational data models including (but not limited to):
• Interviewing business stakeholders and system users to identify important business data
• Creating transactional data models to support on-line web application
• Documenting data lineage (source-to-target mappings), dependencies, and calculations that can lead to an ETL design and implementation
• Identifying and designing views and/or materialized views as necessary
Minimum 1 year experience with designing databases schemas on Oracle 11g
4. Minimum 3 years’ experience creating logical and physical data models using ERwin 7.3
Minimum 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Office.

Demonstrated prior experience in similar engagements.
2 years’ experience writing complex SQL queries and performing data analysis.
At least 2 years’ experience with Oracle Version 11g
1 year experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
1 year experience using SCRUM Agile development methodologies (or SCRUM Master certification as equivalent).
1 year experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server
Goals-oriented proactive team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritize technical tasks in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field. Partial credit will be awarded for BS degree or higher in any field.
