We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Database Administrator to join our Electro-Optic Technology Division. This division is at the forefront of providing comprehensive life cycle and programmatic logistics support for cutting-edge EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infrared) and laser systems utilized in national defense and security.
Our mission is to ensure that these critical technologies are supported throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to deployment and beyond, to meet the needs of our warfighters across the Navy, USMC, Air Force, SOCOM, and other defense entities. This position is vital in ensuring the smooth functioning and sustained operational effectiveness of military and national security EO/IR and laser systems.Responsibilties Administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation. Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.Trains staff on software applicable to their position, assists customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications.
