Work with a world class team to provide enterprise-wide, Oracle Database Administration support for production systems and provide DBA services to application development teams, including database design, database generation, coding, and database production support. Provide DBA support with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness. Provide accurate and creative solutions to user problems of moderate nature to ensure user productivity.

Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Oracle (e.g., Oracle DBA OCP, OCM) are a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of Minimum 6 years of experience in Oracle database administration, with at least 3 years in a team lead or supervisory role. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle database versions (12c, 19c, or later) in enterprise environments. Deep understanding of database architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery. Proven experience in managing large-scale databases, including clustering (RAC), data guard, and replication technologies. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle SQL, RAC, ODG and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell). Strong knowledge of Oracle tools (e.g., RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Data Pump, GoldenGate). Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle services (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Autonomous Database). Experience with database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting tools.

Database Administration:

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Manage backups, recovery, patch management, and ensure that databases are operating efficiently and securely. Proactively monitor database health and performance, identifying issues before they impact business operations. Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance system performance and reduce downtime. Maintain Databases at DR site 

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate documentation on database configurations, architecture, procedures, and operational best practices. Provide regular reports to senior management on database health, performance metrics, and any major issues or risks.
