Amentum is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. **Database Administrator Responsibilities Include:** + Providing database applications, troubleshooting, and upgrade support. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a Management Information Systems or Computer Science discipline. + Two (2) years’ technical experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration. - OR - Four (4) years’ technical experience in developing complex applications. + Two (2) years’ experience with each of the following: identifying, troubleshooting and resolving live database systems issues; T-SQL and PowerShell Scripts; in the use of query, index and DB I/O performance tuning, and Stored Procedures and SQL coding; Database migration and upgrade; disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore using disk-based backup solutions. + Must be able to obtain and maintain Active Secret US Government Clearance.
